About the Role:Abounding Care is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team in the North Dallas area. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of those who need it most, providing essential support and companionship to clients in the Garland, TX community.
Responsibilities:- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients in their homes
- Help with meal preparation and light housekeeping duties
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed
- Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior to supervisors
- Accompany clients to appointments and errands as needed
- Maintain accurate care logs and documentation
Requirements:- Previous caregiving, home health aide, or personal care assistant experience preferred
- Genuine compassion and patience when working with elderly or disabled individuals
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a background check
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
