Overview of Position
Under the direction of the building Principal and with direction from the building Athletic Director, plans, organizes, manages, promotes and evaluates, including providing guidance, instruction and experience to enhance students personal, physical and social growth and development. This position may be held in addition to a classroom teaching or other work assignment.
Compensation
21.30 per hour. The budget for coaching hours is in alignment with the current coaching pay stipend salary schedule. Prior to working hours and submitting timesheets for hours that will exceed the budget, please obtain approval from your school AD and Athletics Department.

EDUCATION:
Must be a high school graduate or have completed a GED program.
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of one year of coaching in the designated sport; Successful completion of WIAA Coaches Requirements; must be at least 21 years of age.
CERTIFICATES & LICENSES:
Valid State of Washington Drivers License
PREFERRED:
Valid Washington State Teachers Certificate
CONTINUING EDUCATION/TRAINING:
Valid "hands-on" First Aid and CPR Certification; SPS Adult Sexual Misconduct Class;

Hourly staff accrue sick leave at the rate of 1:40 per the Washington Paid Sick Leave law; eligible for health benefits after 630 hours under conditions of the School Employees Benefits Board through the state of Washington.
This position is not eligible for Health benefits.
