Department Summary The University of North Texas competes as a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and the American Athletic Conference. North Texas' athletic programs are classified as NCAA Division I, the largest and highest division among all colleges and universities. The 46,000 square-foot Athletic Center located off South Bonnie Brae Street is the centerpiece of North Texas athletics. Athletics strives to conduct a competitive athletics program that promotes faculty, staff, student and community affiliation and participation with the North Texas Athletics. Position Overview The Student-Athlete Academic Center at the University of North Texas is currently hiring academic coaches and tutors for the 2026-2027 Academic Year. Academic Coaches will guide student-athletes on time management, organizational strategies and assist with the development of study skills. Tutors will facilitate supplemental instruction for student-athletes. Academic Coaches and Tutors will uphold the highest standard of Academic Integrity. We are looking for STEM, Accounting/Finance, Marketing, Business, Psychology, History, English and Political Science tutors. There will be several professional development opportunities. |
Minimum Qualifications The successful candidate will possess a High School diploma or GED equivalent: however; a Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. |
