    What We Offer:

    Novant Health is seeking a full-time Athletic Trainer to provide sports medicine services at a high school in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. You'll work directly with student-athletes, coaches, families, and healthcare providers to prevent injuries, provide on-site care, support rehabilitation, and help athletes safely return to play.

    Department: Rehabilitation
    Position Type: Full Time
    Schedule: Flexible schedule based on school practices, games, and athletic events

    • Work directly with student-athletes in a school-based sports medicine setting
    • Provide hands-on injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation
    • Collaborate with physicians, rehabilitation professionals, coaches, and families
    • Build relationships with athletes, schools, and the local community
    What We're Looking For:

    Required

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited Athletic Training program
    • Current Athletic Trainer licensure or ability to obtain prior to start
    • Board of Certification (BOC) certification
    • Current BLS certification or ability to obtain prior to employment
    • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

    Preferred

    • Master's degree
    • Two years of athletic training experience in a sports medicine, orthopedic, or clinical setting
    • CSCS, PES, Blood Flow Restriction (BFR), Dry Needling, or similar advanced certifications
    • AHA First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor certification
    What You'll Do:
    • Evaluate, treat, and rehabilitate orthopedic and sports-related injuries.
    • Develop rehabilitation and therapeutic exercise programs and provide return-to-play guidance.
    • Provide injury prevention education, concussion management, and emergency care.
    • Provide athletic training coverage for school practices, games, and sporting events.
    • Coordinate referrals, follow-up care, patient education, and clinical documentation.
    • Assist providers with casting, splinting, orthotics, wound care, DME, and other clinical procedures.
    • Collaborate with healthcare providers, coaches, families, and community partners to support high-quality athlete care.
