    Job Summary / Basic Function

    The athletic trainer is a regular part-time 50% position. This is a 9 month non-tenure track position.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Evaluate and treat injuries
    • Design rehabilitative programs for student-athletes
    • Record keeping of injuries, evaluations, and treatments
    • Coverage and preparation for practice and competition
    • Travel with teams
    • Staff scheduling

    Required Skills, Knowledge & Abilities Minimum of Education / TrainingRequired Education Summary

    Bachelor's Degree

    BOC Certification

    One year experience in a NCAA Intercollegiate setting

    Ability to function professionally in highly-stressful situations

    Ability to work evening/weekend hours and travel as necessary

    Preferred Qualifications

    Master's degree in Athletic Training or related field

    Experience at the Division II level

    Experience working with student health system software
