Athletic Trainer (PRN / Outreach)Company: Professional Therapy Partners Location: Various Locations, Texas (Outreach Pool) Employment Type: PRN (As-Needed) Position Summary Professional Therapy Partners is seeking certified and licensed Athletic Trainers to join our PRN outreach pool throughout Texas. In this flexible, as-needed role, Athletic Trainers will provide on-site sports medicine coverage and care for athletes of all ages at various regional events, games, and assigned locations. This position is ideal for clinicians seeking flexible scheduling while contributing to high standards of athlete care and sports safety. Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Provide on-site athletic training coverage for assigned outreach events, practices, and games.
- Perform standard-of-care prevention, evaluation, and immediate care for athletic injuries.
- Determine appropriate return-to-play protocols or referrals to additional medical professionals as necessary.
- Maintain accurate, compliant documentation for all patient encounters, injuries, and treatments provided.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with coaches, parents, event organizers, and other medical personnel.
Qualifications and Requirements - Education: Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Certification: Board of Certification (BOC) Athletic Trainer Certification in good standing. Current CPR/AED Certification required.
- Licensure: Valid license to practice as an Athletic Trainer in the State of Texas (or eligible for licensure).
- Skills: Strong clinical reasoning, adaptability to various environments, and excellent communication skills.
- Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
