Responsibilities: Provides comprehensive sports medicine information that focuses on injury prevention, wellness, and education for the betterment of the physically active in the community. Athletic Trainer Certified (ATC) through Board of Certification (BOC) by National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA).

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training, Sports Science, or related degree

Licensensure/Registration/Certification:

• Athletic Trainer Certified (ATC) through Board of Certification (BOC) by National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA)
• Licensed by the State of Alabama
• BLS

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Athletic /Sports Administration

 

 

Responsibilities:

Provides comprehensive sports medicine information that focuses on injury prevention, wellness, and education for the betterment of the physically active in the community.  Attends sporting events as required to support and promote Infirmary Health physicians, services, and staff.
