Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assists with athletic leagues, programs, athletic rental facilities, and special eventsSets up/tear down athletic equipment for fields/gym to include but not be limited to volleyball nets, soccer field flags, football markers, drop down temporary basketball goals, pickleball courts, etc.Ensures the safety and well-being of program participantsKeeps score as needed for basketball, softball, kickball, volleyball, and other sportsReferees games such as basketball or volleyballPerforms general cleaning of equipment and facilityPerforms daily office tasks such as filing, sorting, answering phonesMaintains essential records and prepares reports as required; to include but not limited to participation reports, usage reports, accident reports, and work ordersOpens and closes athletic fields and gym facilities during pre-dawn and after dark evening hours on weekdays/weekendsEnforces park rules at athletic field/gym facilitiesMaintains inventory control of equipment at athletic fields and rental facilitiesAssists with preparation of special events to include the set-up, staging, and clean-upServes meals and snacks to program participants as neededFollows policies, procedures, and safety guidelinesPerforms other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Completion of 2 (two) years of high school
Preferred Qualifications
One (1) year of experience in a related fieldBilingual in English and Spanish
Certifications and Licenses
Valid driver's licenseCPR and First aid or able to attain within 90 daysFood handler license or able to attain within 90 days
