Job Description
This is a part-time position working roughly 8 hours per week. This position does not include benefits.
Performs semiskilled work coordinating a variety of athletic programs, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the moderate supervision of the Athletics Division Manager.

Qualifications
General knowledge of the equipment and techniques necessary to successfully conduct athletic programs; general knowledge of the methods involved in organizing, conducting, promoting and supervising athletic activities; some knowledge of first aid methods and necessary safety precautions to be used in recreation work; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, officials and the general public; ability to express ideas clearly both orally and in writing.
Education, Experience, and Special Requirements
High school diploma or GED and moderate experience organizing athletic leagues and programs, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Special Requirement:
Valid Drivers License.
Physical Requirements:
This work requires the regular exertion of up to 10 pounds of force, frequent exertion of up to 25 pounds of force and occasional exertion of up to 50 pounds of force; work regularly requires standing, walking and using hands to finger, handle or feel, frequently requires sitting, speaking or hearing, reaching with hands and arms, pushing or pulling, lifting and repetitive motions and occasionally requires climbing or balancing and stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling; work has standard vision requirements; vocal communication is required for expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word and conveying detailed or important instructions to others accurately, loudly or quickly; hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels and to receive detailed information through oral communications and/or to make fine distinctions in sound; work requires preparing and analyzing written or computer data, visual inspection involving small defects and/or small parts, using of measuring devices, assembly or fabrication of parts within arms length, operating machines, operating motor vehicles or equipment and observing general surroundings and activities; work frequently requires exposure to outdoor weather conditions and occasionally requires wet, humid conditions (non-weather), working near moving mechanical parts, working in high, precarious places, exposure to fumes or airborne particles, exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals, exposure to extreme cold (nonweather), exposure to extreme heat (non-weather), exposure to the risk of electrical shock, exposure to vibration and exposure to bloodborne pathogens and may be required to wear specialized personal protective equipment; work is generally in a moderately noisy location (e.g. business office, light traffic).
Salary will be determined by candidates qualifications, budget, market, and internal equity.
