    Bachelor's degree from an accredited college and/or university preferred

    Required Skills and Abilities:

    Flexible working hours will be required which may include evening athletic activities

    Performance Responsibilities:

    Ensure athletes are in compliance in accordance with AHSAA regulations and required documents

    Before athletes tryout for an athletic team, ensure they have the required documents

    Ensuring athletes are approved academically:

    Sending transcripts to the AHSAA for approval if students have transferred in from another school system or are homeschool or have taken summer school courses

    Ensuring athletes are passing and complaint with "4 core and 2 more"

    Ensuring athletes have athletic travel and permission

    Ensuring coaches are in compliance with expectations for coaching from Cullman City Schools and AHSAA:

    Approving coaching courses, community coach checklist, helping new coaches with Dragonfly

    Keep documentation of communication with coaches about athletes that are not in compliance with Cullman City Schools and AHSAA requirements

    Coordinate, organize and execute mass physical day for all Cullman City School System Athletes

    Uploading all physicals done the day of the physical

    Ensuring with coaches that all rosters are correct in Dragonfly (principal certifying and rostering within 48 hours of a contest)

    Working with coaches when rosters change during the season

    Marking all middle school and new student athletes in PowerSchool as athletes

    Connecting transcripts in Dragonfly via PowerSchool

    Communicating with parents about athlete eligibility questions (call, text, email)

    Responsible for placing gatekeepers for all athletic events

    Responsible for posting games on GoFan or online ticket sales program

    Debrief weekly with athletic director and school principal

    Assist school bookkeeper with:

    Preparing, Counting and Reconciling cash boxes

    Counting and Receipting funds

    Processing purchase orders, invoices and check batch preparation

    Processing and reconciling GoFan data entry to accounting software

    Any other duties as assigned

    Background Check Required:

    (Ala. Code §§ 16-22A-5) Upon offer of employment, employees will be required to submit legible fingerprints for a background review by the Alabama Bureau of Investigation and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

    Working Conditions:

    Position is regularly required to sit, stand, walk and use hands to finger, to handle, or feel objects, equipment, or controls. Position is required to talk and hear. Position is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, bend, stoop, squat, crouch, and kneel. Position will occasionally lift, push, pull, carry and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include near vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
