Salary - $82,000-$120,000 based on school year calendar

Job Responsibilities
- Duties include providing Assistive Technology Services (assessments, recommendations, training, and coordination of assistive technology solutions) to a wide variety of school-aged students in both general education, inclusion and special education programs.
- Work in a collaborative approach to provide technical support and guidance with students, families, staff and related providers.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
Requirements
Candidates must meet at least one of the following California requirements for providing Assistive Technology Services:
- Current California Occupational Therapy (OT) license; or
- Current California Physical Therapy (PT) license, when the Assistive Technology services provided fall within the scope of physical therapy practice; or
- Current California Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license or a valid California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) document authorizing the applicable services, when the Assistive Technology service involves augmentative communication; or
- Bachelor''s degree in Engineering with an emphasis in Assistive Technology; or
- Bachelor''s degree in a related field of Engineering plus a graduate certificate in Rehabilitation Technology or Assistive Technology; or
- RESNA Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) certification; or
- Certificate in Assistive Technology Applications from a regionally accredited post-secondary institution; or
- A California credential authorizing special education of physically impaired, orthopedically impaired, or severely impaired pupils.
Additional Requirements
- Experience providing Assistive Technology services in a school-based, educational, clinical, or related setting is preferred.
- Experience with assessment, selection, implementation, and/or training related to Assistive Technology and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) is preferred.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, educators, related service providers, and other members of the educational team.
- Ability to provide training and technical assistance to students, families, school staff, and other professionals as appropriate.
- Must meet applicable SPG and school/district requirements, including fingerprint/background clearance and TB clearance, as applicable.
- Candidates must be authorized to provide Assistive Technology services in California under the applicable qualification pathway above.
