Location: Louisville, KY

Overview

A large regional advisory and CPA firm is seeking an Assurance Supervisor in Louisville. As a project manager, you will work on and oversee assurance engagements for public and private organizations, supervise team members and ensure successful completion of client projects. Unlimited PTO is offered.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead assurance engagements, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets and quality standards
• Supervise and mentor associates and interns throughout engagements
• Serve as a point of contact for clients on project status, information requests and questions
• Conduct and review engagement procedures for compliance with the applicable basis of accounting and standards
• Prepare and review workpapers and financial statements
• Collaborate with managers and directors to resolve technical issues
• Stay current on assurance and accounting standards, including Yellow Book and EBP requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field
• 3-5 years of assurance or accounting experience
• CPA license or ability to obtain it in a reasonable time
• Strong project management and communication skills
