    Description

    TRCs client, a well-respected and growing public accounting firm, has a direct hire opportunity for an Assurance Senior Manager to join their team in the Buckhead Atlanta Area. This is a true leadership role where you will oversee audit engagements from planning through execution, with full ownership of client relationships, financial statement delivery, and team development. Youll play a key role in driving engagement success while mentoring and developing staff and seniors. The firm works across a diverse client base including manufacturing, construction, real estate, hospitality, professional services, and not-for-profit organizations. This provides strong exposure to a variety of industries and business challenges, along with the opportunity to build deeper client relationships and have a meaningful impact.

    What you will do
    -Develop effective working relationships with clients and firm associates
    -Lead and provide oversight for the planning and risk assessment, design and execution of audit procedures, and issuance of financial statements that are in compliance with GAAP
    -Effectively delegate responsibility by providing clear expectations and instructions, along with appropriate training and monitoring
    -Deliver strong quality control by ensuring compliance with internal audit methodologies and external requirements
    -Coach and develop associates and seniors
    -Participates in training and developmental opportunities
    -Develop and strengthen relationships with clients and prospects to identify new opportunities or additional service opportunities to our clients, as appropriate.
    -Participate in client presentations and prospect meetings and proposals.


    What you bring
    -Required: CPA
    -Required: 8+ years of public accounting experience
    -Advanced knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and generally accepted auditing standards
    -Experience working with clients in a variety of industries including but not limited to manufacturing, construction, hospitality, professional services, NFP, real estate, employee benefit plans, etc.
    -Prior experience managing audit engagements
    -Strong analytical, technical research, and project management skills
    -Strong character traits of integrity, objectivity and a high standard of ethics
