Overview

A large national CPA and advisory firm is seeking an Assurance (Audit) Manager in Tempe to deliver industry-focused audit and assurance services to middle market clients, work side-by-side with firm leadership and mentor a team of professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide assurance and consulting services to industry-focused clients
• Engage with clients throughout the year to understand business goals and challenges
• Implement testing to assess internal control deficiencies and recommend improvements
• Manage fieldwork to ensure quality and timely delivery
• Provide financial statement guidance and business recommendations
• Help manage engagement staffing and billing/collections
• Build strong internal and external relationships

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting; master's desired
• CPA required
• 5+ years of financial statement audit experience in a professional services firm
• 2+ years of supervisory experience desired
• Strong management, analytical and communication skills
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship preferred
