The Role
As an Assistant Team Lead at Soleil Tans, you support the Team Lead in running smooth daily operations, hitting sales goals and upholding our core values. You lead shifts when the Team Lead is not present, keep your own sales accountability and coach partners to perform at a high level.
What You'll Do
Guest Experience
- Deliver consistent, professional, personalized service that lives up to our brand promise.
- Reinforce service standards, including probing, upselling and delivering solutions that fit guest needs.
Sales
- Meet and exceed personal sales goals for memberships, products and upgrades.
- Monitor and drive shift-level sales performance with the Team Lead.
- Encourage and coach partners to maximize sales opportunities.
Leadership
- Act as shift leader when the Team Lead is not present.
- Provide guidance, feedback and accountability to partners.
- Support onboarding and training for new hires.
- Model professional behavior and uphold all company standards.
Operations
- Oversee equipment checks, sanitization and store readiness.
- Ensure compliance with Soleil Tans policies, procedures, scheduling and opening/closing duties.
- Escalate operational or guest issues to management when needed.
What We're Looking For
- At least 2 years of leadership or sales experience in a similar environment.
- Proven sales success closing memberships and upselling products.
- Reliable, organized and ready to handle shift-level leadership.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Takes initiative without being asked and consistently meets or exceeds expectations.
Pay & Perks
- Pay: $19–$20/hour ($19 to start, $20 within one year after completing training)
- Sales bonuses averaging $1–$4/hour
- Tips averaging $100/month

Schedule
Part time. Weekend and evening availability required.
Growth Path
Strong performance and demonstrated leadership lead to promotion to Team Lead.
