Lead the Supply Chain Operations That Keep Patient Care Moving
Guthrie Cortland Medical Center is seeking an Assistant Manager, Supply Chain Operations to provide day-to-day leadership for the teams and processes responsible for keeping critical supplies moving throughout the hospital.
This position plays a key role in supporting both Materials Management and Operating Room operations by overseeing inventory management, distribution, receiving, replenishment, and supply logistics activities. Working closely with clinical departments, operational leaders, and Supply Chain leadership, you will help ensure the right supplies are available at the right time so caregivers can focus on delivering exceptional patient care.
This is not a role where you will simply maintain existing processes. You will have the opportunity to develop staff, improve workflows, support inventory optimization initiatives, and help drive operational excellence across a critical hospital support function. With responsibility for five direct reports supporting both Storeroom and Operating Room operations, this role offers a unique opportunity to combine leadership, process improvement, customer service, and healthcare operations experience in a single position. Beyond the day-to-day responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to partner with Supply Chain leaders across the Guthrie system to share best practices, improve operations, and contribute to initiatives that have a meaningful impact across the enterprise.
