The successful candidate will provide hands-on legal counsel to the company's business units, assist the General Counsel in managing legal department operations, and ensure legal compliance for the organization. This role involves identifying and analyzing legal issues, presenting clear recommendations, and supporting the legal department's objective of being a trusted advisor. The AVP, Associate General Counsel will also be responsible for managing defensive litigation matters, conducting legal research, and providing legal guidance for new product development and delivery channels.Applicants must have a JD degree, be admitted to the state bar, and have 3-5 years of work experience, with a preference for those with in-house or mid to large law firm experience.
