South Sioux Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join our growing team in South Sioux City, Nebraska.
We are a privately owned veterinary practice, not corporate or private equity-driven. Our focus is on building long-term client relationships, providing high-quality medicine, and giving our veterinarians the professional autonomy and support they need to thrive.
Our hospital is equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment capabilities, including:
Digital radiography
Dental X-ray
Ultrasound
Full in-house laboratory (VetScan VS2; VetScan Opticell; Imagyst)
Phovia Light; Therapeutic Laser
Electronic medical records (AVImark)

What You'll Do
Provide high-quality medical care, diagnostics, and treatment for companion animals
Perform routine and complex medical examinations and develop treatment plans
Perform soft tissue surgery and dental procedures (orthopedic procedures based on experience)
Prescribe medications and recommend preventive care protocols
Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up care
Collaborate closely with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure excellent patient outcomes
Maintain accurate medical records within AVImark
Contribute to a positive, team-oriented practice culture
Stay current on veterinary best practices and continuing education
Education & Licensure
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) from an accredited veterinary school
Licensed or eligible for licensure in Nebraska (within 60-days of start date)
Experience, Fit & Training
Experienced veterinarians and new graduates welcome and encouraged to apply
