    General Practice Associate Veterinarian |  Alamogordo, NM

     

    A well-established small animal practice is seeking a Veterinarian to join its collaborative clinical team. This opportunity offers a balanced caseload, strong technical support, and an environment that values clinical autonomy, mentorship, and professional growth. Both experienced doctors and newer graduates seeking structured support are encouraged to apply.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Provide comprehensive medical and surgical care to companion animal patients

    • Perform routine and advanced soft tissue procedures as appropriate

    • Conduct diagnostic evaluations and develop treatment plans

    • Educate clients on medical recommendations and ongoing care

    • Maintain accurate and compliant medical records

    • Collaborate effectively with veterinary technicians and support staff

    • Contribute to a positive and team-oriented hospital culture

    Qualifications

    • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree

    • Active veterinary license (or ability to obtain licensure)

    • Strong clinical and communication skills
