Associate Veterinarian, Exotics & GP, 3- or 4-Day Week

A companion animal general practice in the Kansas City metro is hiring an Associate Veterinarian.

The caseload includes dogs, cats, and a full range of exotics such as rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, pocket pets, and reptiles, along with GP and urgent care cases. The team of four full-time DVMs and five full-time RVTs is collaborative and mentorship-focused, with strong community involvement.

Key Highlights:

• Consistent 3- or 4-day work week, 8:00am to 6:00pm
• One Saturday a month and no on-call
• Four full-time DVMs and five full-time RVTs
• Room to grow in surgery, dentistry, exotic medicine, and internal medicine
• AI note-taking software provided
• Partnership and ownership pathway for those interested in long-term growth

About You:

• DVM or VMD from an accredited school
• Valid Missouri veterinary license
• New graduates and experienced DVMs welcome

Benefits:

• $120,000 to $140,000 annual base salary, plus production bonus (ProSal) with no negative accrual
