    Associate Veterinarian – Islamorada, FL

     

    A well-established, multi-doctor animal care practice in the Florida Keys is seeking a dedicated Associate Veterinarian to join their collaborative and compassionate team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of medical and surgical cases while growing both clinically and professionally in a supportive environment.     Key Responsibilities

    • Deliver high-quality medical and surgical care for companion animals

    • Foster strong client relationships built on communication, trust, and compassion

    • Partner with fellow veterinarians and support staff to ensure excellent patient outcomes

    • Contribute to the continued growth and mentorship of team members

    • Manage diverse caseloads and provide solutions that align with best medical practices

     

    Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

    • DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary college (or equivalent)

    • Active veterinary license in good standing (or eligibility for licensure in the state)

    • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills

    • Dedication to lifelong learning and professional development
