What You’ll Do: The Associate Therapist facilitates individual and group sessions with clients, mentors direct care staff, and works collaboratively within treatment teams. Board registered to accrue hours towards licensure in the state where services are provided (required).

What You’ll Do:

The Associate Therapist facilitates individual and group sessions with clients, mentors direct care staff, and works collaboratively within treatment teams. Key responsibilities include:

 

• Facilitating individual therapy sessions within the framework of Newport Healthcare’s clinical model
• Facilitating clinical and experiential group therapy sessions to support healing and connection
• Participating in screenings, intakes, orientations, assessments, treatment planning, and discharge planning
• Attending trainings and clinical supervision sessions to enhance your skills and broaden your knowledge
• Serving as a vital part of your clients’ multidisciplinary treatment teams
• Supporting the team with crisis prevention, intervention, and management as needed

What Makes You a Great Fit:

• Master’s degree in a clinical discipline (required)
• Board registered to accrue hours towards licensure in the state where services are provided (required)
• Experience facilitating therapy with children, teens, and/or young adults (preferred)

• The capacity to listen attentively and actively, with patience and empathy, and to communicate clearly and effectively

Compensation Range: $29.55 - $40.63 per hour based on education and experience.
