Job Description:
As an Associate Technician, VE+ET Test Engineering, you will be responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of test programs. You will also contribute by assisting in test setup, instrumentation, operation, and equipment maintenance while working closely with Test Engineers and other Technicians to prepare and communicate test data for analysis and reporting. You will be expected to have a technical understanding of test systems, instrumentation and data collection setup.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Vocational or technical degree in Engineering Technology or equivalent experience
EDUCATION PREFERRED:
Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering Technology
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
0-2 years of experience in an engineering technician role
Proficient in both oral and written business communication
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics
Strong mechanical/electrical aptitude
Proficiency with computer operation, including Microsoft Office tools
Desire to work in a "hands-on" environment
Ability to operate large commercial vehicles in a controlled environment
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES PREFERRED:
Experience in laboratory test environment
Experience configuring instrumentation/data collection
Knowledge of automatic transmissions and/or electric vehicle propulsion systems
Programming in C-based languages
Commercial Drivers License (CDL)
