Description

Oxford Solutions is working with a technology-focused client seeking a Supply Chain Planner to support project-based material planning and procurement activities. This is a contract opportunity for someone with experience coordinating materials, suppliers, purchase requirements, and delivery schedules in a project-driven environment.

This position works closely with procurement, engineering, logistics, project controls, and other internal teams to help ensure materials and services are available when needed to support project milestones.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate material and service requirements against project schedules and budgets.
  • Support material planning, purchasing requests, cost estimates, and forecasting activities.
  • Track supplier commitments and material deliveries to help maintain project timelines.
  • Coordinate purchasing and production requirements based on project demand.
  • Assist with supplier documentation, service milestones, and invoice authorization processes.
  • Work with engineering and procurement teams to resolve outstanding material or sourcing requirements.
  • Support logistics planning, shipping documentation, and warehouse inventory reporting.
  • Maintain supply chain reports, forecasts, and project planning documentation.
  • Support senior supply chain team members on larger or more complex projects.
  • Identify potential material or delivery issues and communicate risks to the appropriate project stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience in supply chain planning, materials planning, procurement, logistics, or a related function.
  • Experience supporting project-based, manufacturing, engineering, transportation, or other technical environments preferred.
  • Understanding of purchase orders, material requirements, supplier coordination, inventory, and delivery tracking.
  • Ability to work across multiple departments and manage competing project priorities.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Experience with ERP, purchasing, or supply chain planning systems preferred.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven project environment.
