Associate Specialist Documentation

Location: Plymouth, MN

Onsite Flexibility: Onsite

Contract Details

  • Position Type: Contract
  • Contract Duration: 12 months
  • Pay Rate: $40.67 / Hour (USD)
  • Shift / Schedule: 8-hour shift; start and end times flexible

Job Summary

This position is responsible for reviewing and processing change requests for new documents and revisions to existing documents, and is responsible for processing, organizing, and maintaining the Document Control System in accordance with applicable quality and regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Facilities and EHS teams with processing documents in approved formats.
  • Support the Facilities and EHS teams with vendor support, including onboarding new vendors into the Ariba systems, process training, and communication of needs between the team and the vendors through email or by video meetings/phone calls.
  • Facilities and EHS information and process support tasks.
  • Process documents that support Facilities or EHS contracts, purchases, or project processes.
  • Secure and control access to documentation as required by established procedures.
  • Communicate and coordinate documentation approvals with various departments.
  • Participate on cross-functional project teams.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • General Office Support for the Facilities and EHS department.
  • Follow Facilities and EHS rules and procedures for your department. Report EHS incidents and/or unsafe acts and conditions promptly to supervision. Forward any opportunities to improve the EHS program to supervision.
  • Process change requests for documents in Windchill.
  • Reviewing high volume of documentation; documents need to be loaded and approved in Windchill.
  • Cross-functional project teams participation.

  • Must have great organizational skills and know how to use basic Excel skills.
  • Experience in quality and in a PLM Quality System; Windchill preferred.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Able to follow quality system procedures.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in quality and in a PLM Quality System, preferred Windchill.
  • Some background working in a professional office environment is helpful.

Education Requirements

  • Associate's Degree preferred; an equivalent combination of education and work experience accepted.
  • Minimum of an Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree required.

Required Experience

  • Typically requires 2 or more years of relevant work experience or exposure within a regulated environment to sufficiently demonstrate the core job responsibilities of the position.
  • 3 6 years of experience required.

Nice-to-Have Experience

  • Medical device experience not required but considered a plus.
