    Associate Small Animal Veterinarian – Tucson, AZ

     

    An established companion animal practice is seeking a skilled Veterinarian to join a collaborative clinical team focused on delivering high-quality patient care in an urgent-care environment. This opportunity is well-suited for veterinarians who enjoy hands-on case management, procedural medicine, and working with a strong technical support team while continuing to expand their clinical expertise.

     

    Key Responsibilities

    • Diagnose and treat urgent medical conditions, minor injuries, and same-day care needs

    • Perform medical procedures and administer appropriate treatments

    • Interpret diagnostic tests and develop treatment recommendations

    • Communicate clearly with pet owners regarding care plans and follow-up instructions

    • Maintain accurate and timely patient medical records

    • Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and quality care

     

    Qualifications

    • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution

    • Active veterinary license (or eligibility for licensure)

    • Strong clinical judgment and procedural skills

    • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
