Associate Service Engineer – 100% Travel

We seek an Associate Service Engineer to join our dedicated and talented team. At TSP, we share a passion for providing an entirely positive, above-and-beyond service experience for every customer in the TSP family.

ASSOCIATE SERVICE ENGINEERS AT TSP TYPICALLY HAVE THE FOLLOWING JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide maintenance support for NetApp and Rubrik

• Schedule service calls and coordinate the delivery of parts to meet the customers' SLAs

• Maintain NetApp and Rubrik storage equipment, including troubleshooting, following product repair action plans (disk/controller swaps, etc.), and acting as smart hands with direction from a support center

• Perform installations of Rubrik storage equipment, including unboxing, lifting, racking/stacking, and configuration

• Install an array of PayRange devices in multiple locations locally

• Interact with IT customers, TSP technical team members, and external support organizations

• Impact extends to customer technical representatives including systems administrators and technical managers

• Maintain flexibility to travel outside the coverage area when required

• 24/7/365 on-call rotation

• Weekend and evening work required, as are occasional holidays

THE IDEAL PERSON FOR THIS ROLE WILL HAVE EXPERIENCE SUCH AS:

• Any IT experience or exposure to data center environments is welcome but not a requirement
• Hardware troubleshooting experience in work, military service, or as a trusted technical resource for friends and family
• Must have a general understanding of Microsoft Outlook and demonstrate superb communication skills (phone/email/in-person)
• Good job stability must be reflected on resume
• Must be reliable, proactive, and possess the ability to take ownership of multiple engagements
• Positive attitude, professionalism, self-motivation, and ability to learn quickly
• Demonstrates a strong sense of urgency by effectively prioritizing workload, managing multiple service requests, proactively communicating with customers and internal teams, maintaining accurate, real-time documentation, and consistently meeting scheduled commitments with professionalism and punctuality

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ABOUT THIS ROLE:

• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Must be able to lift and install equipment (up to 75 pounds) into customer racks
• Pay: up to $25.00 per hour
