As an Associate SAP Technology Specialist at IBM, you'll help organizations operate, secure, analyze, and continuously improve the enterprise technology platforms that support critical business operations.
As part of our SAP practice, you'll gain hands-on experience working with enterprise systems used by organizations around the world. Depending on business needs, your technical skills, academic experience, and career interests, you may develop specialized expertise in one of three areas:
No two projects are exactly alike. You could support clients across industries including healthcare, financial services, public sector, retail, manufacturing, energy, consumer products, and more.
You'll work side-by-side with experienced SAP specialists, developers, data professionals, cybersecurity professionals, architects, and consultants while learning how enterprise technology supports some of the world's largest organizations.
You do not need previous SAP experience to get started. Many associates join IBM with a foundation in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or another technical discipline and develop specialized SAP expertise through structured learning, certifications, mentorship, and hands-on client experience.
We're not looking for SAP experts; we hire for technical potential, curiosity, problem-solving ability, and a passion for learning. During your first year, you'll build technical expertise, develop SAP skills, contribute to client projects, strengthen your consulting and communication capabilities, and establish a foundation for long-term career growth at IBM.
To give yourself the best opportunity for success, we advise applying only to roles that align with your skills and experience, rather than applying broadly across all entry-level positions. You'll receive a status update email for each application, so be sure to check your IBM Careers account regularly - it's the best way to get a centralized view of which roles you have active applications against.
At IBM, you don’t need a degree to shape the future. Just bring your skills—and your passion. To build. To design. To code. To consult. To think along with clients and sell. To make markets. To invent. To collaborate.
Not just to do something better, but to attempt things you've never thought possible. To lead in this new era of technology and solve some of the world's most challenging problems. Let’s get to work.
