At Oberg Industries, Quality is more than inspecting finished parts. Our Quality team works directly with Manufacturing, Engineering, Program Management, customers, and suppliers to solve problems, improve processes, and ensure we deliver precision products that meet demanding customer and regulatory requirements. As an Associate Quality Engineer, you will build on your hands-on quality experience while developing your skills in quality engineering, statistical analysis, process improvement, root cause analysis, FMEA, First Article Inspection, PPAP, process validation, and Quality Management Systems.

We are looking for someone with a solid foundation in manufacturing quality who is ready to take on more responsibility and develop their engineering skill set. Your experience inspecting parts, working with measurement equipment, reading drawings, identifying nonconformances, and understanding manufacturing processes can provide the foundation for success in this role.

We are especially interested in candidates who have a hands-on Quality background and want to grow into Quality Engineering.
Work Environment:
This is an on-site position that combines an office and precision manufacturing environment. You will spend time at a computer as well as regularly working with or traveling through manufacturing and inspection areas. Remote work is not available for this position.
The position requires sitting and/or standing for extended periods and may occasionally require observing or performing manufacturing or inspection operations. Employees must be able to wear required personal protective equipment.
