Barge Design Solutions is seeking an Associate Project Manager to support our growing Mission Critical practice. This role generally serves in a technical capacity on projects but also executes project management activities under the direction of a Project Manager on single-discipline projects. This role does not have direct responsibility for projects nor does it not maintain a Barge job sheet.
Responsibilities:
- Responsibilities include working with leadership and under the direction of a Project Manager to learn and implement proper PM procedures.
- Collaborates with stakeholders on proposals to determine time, cost, & processes for accomplishing projects deliverables.
- Collaborates with stakeholders to establish Project Management Plans and assemble teams
- Executing activities to ensure that goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within defined time and established budget.
- Functions as the technical lead on projects.
- Reviews reports and findings. Makes recommendations for modification to project as needed.
- Monitors budget against plan.
- Prepares reports for management, client, or others.
- Acts as liaison and builds relationships with client and project team participating in client meetings & leading internal project meetings.
- Performs other duties as requested.
