The University of Miami Miller School of Medicine is seeking a Hand Fellowship-trained, board-certified Orthopaedic Surgeon to join the Department of Orthopaedics as a full-time faculty member at the Associate Professor of Clinical rank. The successful candidate will demonstrate experience and a strong interest in a high-volume clinical practice focused on hand, wrist, and elbow surgery.
Primary Responsibilities
Active participation in the clinical and surgical care of hand patients, including Level I trauma center on?call coverage
Teaching, training, and supervision of orthopaedic residents, hand surgery fellows, and medical students
Development of and participation in ongoing clinical research initiatives within the Department of Orthopaedics
Secondary Responsibilities
Service on appropriate Departmental and School of Medicine committees
Participation in relevant Departmental and hospital administrative activities
