Associate Product Engineer

About the role

As a Product Engineer supporting Paragon TMS in Alpharetta, GA, you will work on customer and product problems. You will combine structured learning, hands-on experimentation, technical execution, and clear communication. You will develop a QA mindset while moving work from an unfamiliar question to a tested, dependable solution.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate assigned customer and product problems, document findings, and identify root causes
• Research, test, and iterate on solutions using appropriate engineering methods
• Build, modify, test, and document software, scripts, automations, or workflows
• Consider edge cases, reproduce issues, and validate fixes before completion
• Participate in code reviews, regression testing, troubleshooting, and documentation

About you

You are willing to learn, seek feedback, explain your thinking, and work through ambiguity. You communicate reasoning, progress, blockers, defects, test results, and outcomes clearly. You take ownership of agreed tasks, follow through on commitments, and learn from feedback and results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Foundational experience through coursework, projects, internships, or practical technical work
• Foundational understanding of analytical problem solving and basic technical concepts
• Attention to detail and an emerging QA mindset
• Strong written and verbal communication

To be ahead of the pack, you might have:

• Experience with SQL, Python, APIs, automation, data analysis, or software development
• Experience with structured testing or AI-driven projects, workflows, or tools
• Background in engineering, operations, business, analytics, or a related discipline
