About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our client's team in the finance sector. In this role, you will contribute to researching and applying U.S. GAAP and SEC requirements to complex business transactions, preparing disclosures and footnotes for Forms 10-K and 10-Q, and developing audit-ready accounting memoranda and supporting work papers.

Responsibilities

• Research and apply U.S. GAAP and SEC requirements to complex business transactions and reporting matters.
• Prepare assigned disclosures and footnotes for Forms 10-K and 10-Q.
• Develop clear, audit-ready accounting memoranda and supporting work papers.
• Partner with finance, legal, operations, external auditors, and other stakeholders to assess accounting, disclosure, control, and reporting implications.
• Utilize reporting systems, automation tools, and emerging technologies to improve reporting accuracy, efficiency, consistency, and control effectiveness.
• Manage multiple time-sensitive deliverables during quarterly and annual reporting cycles and identify opportunities to strengthen governance and streamline processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; U.S. CPA strongly preferred or progress toward CPA.
• 5 years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting and/or SEC reporting, consolidations, or technical accounting at a Fortune 500 company.
• Ability to research complex U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting matters and draft audit-ready technical memoranda and experience with filings, disclosures, and tie-outs.

Preferred Qualifications (if any)

• Experience with SOX/disclosure controls and financial reporting systems such as Workiva, Oracle FCCS, or similar platforms preferred.
