Position Summary:
The Associate Manager of SAAS Talent Acquisition serves as the Division of Student Affairs and Academic Support's talent acquisition professional and strategic recruitment partner. This position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing full-cycle recruitment activities for positions across the division. The Associate Director partners with hiring managers to develop effective recruitment strategies, ensure compliance with university policies and employment regulations, and facilitates the delivery of an exceptional candidate experience. The position serves as the division's subject matter expert on recruitment, search committee best practices, Post PeopleAdmin, workforce planning, and recruitment analytics while advancing strategies to attract, recruit, and retain a highly qualified workforce.
Primary Job Duties
- Strategic Recruitment & Talent Acquisition: Manage all recruitment and talent acquisition activities for the Division of Student Affairs and Academic Support, serving as the division's primary recruitment advisor and strategic talent acquisition partner. Develop and implement an annual divisional recruitment strategy aligned with workforce planning initiatives to attract, recruit, and retain a highly qualified and diverse workforce.
- Search Committee Administration & Recruitment Consultation: Serve as the division's expert on search committee administration by providing consultation, guidance, and oversight throughout the search process. Consult with search committees and ensure committee members complete required university search committee training.
- Candidate Experience & Onboarding: Serve on the division's Professional Development team's onboarding subcommittee to ensure new staff receive robust, well‑coordinated onboarding experience. Create and maintain onboarding resources such as timelines, supervisor checklists, communication templates, and structure onboarding plans to support consistency across the Division.
- Data Analytics: Develop, monitor, analyze, and report recruitment metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of divisional recruitment strategies and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Generalist: Serve as an integral part of Centralized HR Team. Monitors ticketing system, reviews and approves pending transactions in PeopleAdmin and PeopleSoft.

Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience

- Lead all recruitment and talent acquisition activities for the Division of Student Affairs and Academic Support, serving as the division's primary recruitment advisor and strategic talent acquisition partner. Develop and implement an annual divisional recruitment strategy aligned with workforce planning initiatives to attract, recruit, and retain a highly qualified and diverse workforce.
- Provide consultation to division hiring managers throughout the full recruitment lifecycle, including, recruitment planning, job posting, recruitment marketing, applicant sourcing, passive candidate outreach, applicant review, candidate evaluation, offer consultation, and position closeout.
- Serve as the division's subject matter expert for PeopleAdmin by creating and managing recruitment workflows, monitoring applicant pools, ensuring compliance with university recruitment policies, and facilitating timely movement of searches through the hiring process. Provide guidance on recruitment best practices, equitable hiring, employment regulations, salary recommendations, and competitive recruitment strategies.
- Develop innovative recruitment marketing tactics utilizing social media, professional organizations, higher education networks, university partnerships, community outreach, and other sourcing strategies to strengthen the division's employer brand and build sustainable talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs. Develop and maintain recruitment branding initiatives that promote Student Affairs and Academic Support as an employer of choice.
- Continuously evaluate and improve recruitment processes by utilizing recruitment metrics, candidate feedback, hiring manager input, and industry best practices to improve hiring outcomes and operational efficiency.
- Leverage emerging, and existing technology to enhance workflow, automate repetitive tasks, and support efforts in providing data-driven talent insights.

Search Committee Administration & Recruitment Consultation
- Serve as the division's expert on search committee administration by providing consultation, guidance, and oversight throughout the search process. Consult with search committees and ensure committee members complete required university search committee training.
- Advise hiring managers and search committees on university recruitment policies, equitable and inclusive hiring practices, interview development, applicant evaluation, confidentiality requirements, and selection procedures. Review recruitment plans, monitor search progress, identify barriers to timely hiring, and recommend solutions to improve recruitment effectiveness while ensuring compliance with federal and state employment laws and university policies.
- Provide ongoing consultation to hiring managers regarding recruitment timelines, candidate evaluations, salary recommendations, and hiring decisions to support successful recruitment outcomes.

Generalist
- Serve as an integral part of Centralized HR Team. Monitors ticketing system, reviews and approves pending transactions in PeopleAdmin and People Soft.
- Maintains cross functional knowledge of all areas of HR to be able to assist in all HR functions as needed.
- Complete HR actions in PeopleAdmin and PeopleSoft HCM. Create and assist in training of staff and students in all HR related university software and communicates any required process changes.
- Serve as a liaison to central Human Resources and ensure the department is up to date with all pertinent process changes or information. Regularly update the Recruitment Guide and related resources to ensure all materials reflect current best practices, institutional policies, and evolving recruitment strategies.
