    Job Description:

Disney Entertainment is seeking a collaborative, highly organized marketing strategist to lead end-to-end campaigns for Disney-owned newly released and priority third-party licensed titles on Disney+ and Hulu. In this role, you will guide campaigns from early planning through launch and post-launch support, build strong studio and cross-functional relationships, and keep assets, approvals, and timelines moving smoothly. You will serve as a key connector across Theatrical, Content Planning, Brand, Bundle, Inclusive Marketing, CRM, Social, Performance Media, and Marketing Operations to deliver campaigns that are cohesive and impactful.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead end-to-end marketing campaigns for select films and documentaries, including Disney-owned newly released and priority third-party licensed titles, from early planning through post-launch support.

    • Support relationship management with major and independent studio partners regarding campaign plans, asset needs, feedback, approvals, and timelines.

    • Support theatrical drafting and broader film brand campaigns through strategic development, ideation, asset sourcing, execution, and stakeholder approvals.

    • Partner with Brand, Bundle, and Inclusive Marketing to build campaign plans and title lists tied to holidays, cultural moments, seasonal priorities, and other key beats; present priorities to Social Editorial and Reporting, Performance Media, and other channel teams to secure support.

    • Own studio approval workflows, including routing assets, tracking feedback, resolving open items, and securing final approvals.

    • Serve as the liaison between Theatrical and Content Planning for trailer launches, Coming Soon Pages, and platform Special Looks; maintain the film Coming Soon Page tracker with accurate dates and statuses.

    • Partner with CRM to secure email placement for priority films by communicating priorities, sourcing assets, and managing approvals.

    • Source and quality-check approved key art, trailers, stills, copy, and other materials for branding, calls to action, legal language, and copyright accuracy.

    • Partner with Marketing Operations on statements of work and asset delivery for Originals, Pay 1 films, and licensed titles; lead the Weekly Film Taskforce, Monthly Film Vertical, and Andscape meetings with clear agendas and follow-ups.

    Basic Qualifications

    • 3+ years of experience in entertainment, film, streaming, brand, or integrated marketing.

    • Experience leading cross-functional campaigns from planning through launch and managing external partners, asset approvals, stakeholder feedback, and concurrent timelines.

    • Strong project management, organization, communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills, with close attention to detail.

    • Ability to evaluate materials for brand consistency, calls to action, legal language, and copyright requirements.

    • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Film, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience marketing films, documentaries, licensed content, or streaming titles and working with studio approval processes.

    • Experience with CRM, paid media, social, platform merchandising, theatrical workflows, statements of work, or creative asset production timelines.

    • Advanced degree or additional coursework in Marketing, Communications, Business, Film, or a related field.

The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $87,100 to $116,800 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
