Description

  • The Associate Manager, Accounting, will simultaneously perform treasury, accounting and insurance tasks. 
  • Accounting/Treasury will assist in the preparation of the company’s financial statements and ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, and support Senior Accounting Manager to drive all formal financial reporting functions, including financial accounting, daily cash flow, and month-end close, supporting internal controls to ensure the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform monthly closing procedures and balance sheet accounts, as assigned. This includes performing and/or reviewing account reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Renew or build new finance loans for investment or operating cash flow.
  • Build annual and monthly direct/indirect cash flow budget.
  • Renew corporate insurances and resolve claims with insurance carriers and brokers.
  • Determine the adequacy of balance sheet deferrals and accruals.
  • Coordinate with External and Internal Auditors for quarterly and annual audit.
  • Assist with preparation of US GAAP financial statements and notes.
  • Coordinate with plants on production reporting, Cost Accounting, and inventory valuation utilizing SAP Material Ledger, including driving projects associated with process improvement.
  • Respond to ad-hoc reporting, analysis, and special assignments, as needed.

Qualifications

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in accounting preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
  • Insurance renewal and claims experience preferred, but optional.
  • CPA and K-SOX/SOX experience are preferred.
  • SAP experience required, including SAP Material Ledger.
  • Knowledge of internal controls, corporate policies, and compliance.
  • Must be an analytical and critical thinker with the ability to dig deep into the details but present high-level findings to management.
  • Detail-oriented and be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work within a team environment.
  • Be proactive and self-motivated with the ability to learn quickly.
     

The approximate pay range for this position is $95,000 to $125,000. This range is provided as a good faith estimate at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location.
