Associate Degree in Information Technology or a related field of study - OR - High School diploma plus 2 years of experience in IT support functions or IT technical-related experience.
Required to be on-call and to respond immediately to trouble calls outside of general work hours.
Work may occasionally require more than eight hours per day.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field of study.
Customer service experience.
Certifications: A+, Network+, MCP, CCNA
Rotating weekend and holiday coverage.
Workload pressure will regularly subject the incumbent to moderate to high job-related stress
Responsibilities:
Serves as the first line of support for user issues in the local and remote to them Regional Centers by being available to answer questions, document and fix or escalate issues, and acts as a liaison between Regional Programs and IT.
In coordination with IT, informatics and application vendors, performs knowledge transfer of predefined and accepted workflows to end users. Will be responsible for assisting in new user/employee training, on-going refresher and optimization training, new feature/version training and remedial training.
Performs other duties as assigned.
