    Description

    PurposeThe Associate Infrastructure Engineer performs a critical role in implementing and supporting cloud-based solutions and strategies. This role is responsible for participating in complex efforts and providing level-3 support. This individual is experienced with various development tools and IT infrastructure components. The candidate will be supporting Infrastructure and Operations services, with a focus on cloud technologies.Responsibilities

    Work with business and technology partners to understand needs from the client perspectiveDrive technology discussions and facilitate decision with other teams within the organizationCollaborate cross-functionally to develop our target state cloud platform and infrastructureGather technical requirements, assess capabilities, and analyze findings to provide appropriate cloud platform solution recommendations and adoption strategyBuild and deploy efficient solutions that improve efficiencies and add value to the businessDevelop creative and efficient solutions for migration to cloud environmentsBuild technology solutions, including the process, integrations, and automationAutomate testing and execution of playbook actionsIdentify and execute on opportunities to automate and simplify lifecycle managementImplement best-practice standards that will be leveraged by business units to streamline and simplify cloud platform operationsOperate and maintain cloud-based solutions to ensure high performance and reliabilityMaintain operational processes, guidelines, and standards that facilitate robust, scalable, cost-effective, and innovative servicesParticipate in risk identification within the technical architecture in partnership with security teamsEnsure alerts and events are flowing across various cloud-based services and partnersNormal business hours and some after-hours/on-call responsibilitiesSupport projects and initiatives to deliver on strategic goals, including building automation to improve efficienciesWork closely with agile teams to prioritize the implementation of user stories while balancing priorities, ensuring continuous delivery or business valueTrack time and complete assignments on scheduleBuild, maintain, and promote strong technical documentationKeep abreast of and gain expertise in the evolving technology and understand how new technologies could be applied to our Cloud platform offeringsMaintain an operational dashboard to track and report on the health of IT systems, including alignment or impact to business servicesExecutes POCs and feasibility studies to validate next-gen product concepts, technologies, and services leveraging results to guide business and technology decisionsResearch, test, and understand the relevant products and product capabilityParticipate in the vendor community on relevant products and product capability
