About the Role

Old Navy is looking for an Associate Graphic Designer to support our Collabs + Emerging Partnerships team, with a focus on apparel graphics. This role will help bring exciting brand collaborations to life through on-product design, working closely with cross-functional partners to create compelling, trend-right graphics for our collections. You'll contribute to concept development, artwork creation, and production-ready files that support seasonal launches and special partnership moments.

What You'll Do

  • Design and develop original graphics for apparel across collaborations and partnerships, including tees, fleece, and other key categories
  • Support concept development by translating creative direction into on-brand, customer-relevant artwork
  • Create and prepare production-ready files, ensuring accuracy in color, scale, placement, and print techniques
  • Partner closely with Merchandising, Product Development, and Production teams to bring graphics from concept to final product
  • Adapt partner brand assets and guidelines into cohesive designs that align with Old Navy's aesthetic
  • Execute revisions based on feedback while maintaining design integrity and meeting deadlines
  • Stay current on graphic trends, typography, and cultural influences to bring fresh ideas to the product

Who You Are

  • 1-3 years of graphic design experience, preferably in apparel or fashion
  • Strong portfolio showcasing apparel graphics, typography, and print design
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop required)
  • Understanding of print techniques, color separations, and production processes for apparel
  • Strong attention to detail, especially in file setup and execution
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Interest in collaborations, pop culture, and trend-driven design
  • Experience working on licensed or collaboration-based product

About the Company

The Gap Inc

Doris and Don Fisher opened the first Gap store in 1969 with a simple idea -- to make it easier to find a pair of jeans and a commitment to do more. Over the last 46 years, the company has grown from a single store to a global fashion business with five brands -- Gap, Banana Republic, Old Navy, Athleta and Intermix. Gap's clothes are available in 90 countries worldwide through 3,300 company-operated stores, almost 400 franchise stores, and e-commerce sites and is still growing. Many companies work to improve their services and businesses every day by using GAP Testers who anonymously go into various places and report back to the companies on everything from cleanliness, customer service to quality control. Being a tester is a very flexible, fun job with lots of benefits.
