    Job ID: 726364BRDate posted: Apr. 29, 2026OverviewAssociate General Counsel position supporting all aspects of the F‑35 Lightning II Program.ResponsibilitiesHandle legal work associated with Production, International, Development & Follow‑on Modernization, Sustainment, and Supply Chain Management.Perform full spectrum of government and commercial contracting from proposals to claims, providing advice on data rights and program‑related disputes at prime and subcontract levels.Support negotiation and development of traditional and innovative contractual arrangements and terms.Collaborate closely with F‑35 Program personnel (Contracts, Finance, Supply Chain) and government and industry counterparts.Assist in communications with outside counsel.Demonstrate leadership, communication, and writing skills.Basic QualificationsJ.D. degree.Government contracts legal experience in a law firm, corporation, or government.Experience handling legal issues in the U.S. defense and aerospace industry sector.Licensed to practice law in the U.S.Five or more years of directly relevant experience.Desired SkillsExperience with U.S. defense large acquisition programs, including aircraft and other major weapons systems.International contracting legal experience.FMS or Cooperative Program experience.Experience with claims and REAs.Familiarity with government cost principles and accounting standards.Security ClearanceSecurity clearance level: Top SecretStatement: This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a U.S. citizen for consideration.BenefitsWe offer flexible work schedules, comprehensive benefits, and investment in your future and security.
