OBJECTIVES: Reporting to the Director of Programs, the Staff, Programs – Associate Family Team Conference Facilitator (AFTCF) is responsible for coordinating and guiding structured meetings that bring together families, child welfare staff, and service providers to collaboratively develop safety-focused plans that support children’s well-being and promote family stability. The AFTCF serves as a neutral facilitation, ensuring that families are meaningfully engaged, respected, and empowered throughout the process. This is an entry-level to early-career role ideal for professionals seeking experience in child welfare, social services, or family advocacy.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Prepare and generate monthly reports to track due dates for all required conferences.
  2. Schedule all required conferences for families assigned to the team in accordance with established timelines.
  3. Facilitate conferences in alignment with the designed planning conference type and specific objectives.
  4. Complete accurate and timely documentation of all conferences and upload required records into the system within 48 hours.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related human service field.
  • Minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of experience working with families and children.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word – Required.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

Salary commensurate with experience. Northside offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Salary: $45,000 - $55,000.
