    Job Description

    The Associate Experience Manager serves as a strategic business partner to campus dining leadership, supporting a diverse workforce across residential dining, retail, catering, and hospitality operations. This role is responsible for driving talent, culture, employee engagement, compliance, and leadership development while ensuring exceptional employee experience.

    Job Responsibilities

    Strategic Partnership

    • Partner with dining leadership to align people strategies with business objectives.
    • Provide guidance on workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and talent development.
    • Support change management and organizational growth initiatives.

     

    Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

    • Lead recruitment efforts for hourly, salaried, and leadership positions.
    • Build talent pipelines and workforce strategies to meet operational needs.
    • Support onboarding and new hire integration.

     

    Employee Relations & Leadership Support

    • Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees.
    • Coach leaders on performance management, employee relations, and team development.
    • Conduct investigations and resolve workplace concerns with fairness and consistency.

     

    Employee Engagement & Culture

    • Develop initiatives that enhance employee engagement, recognition, retention, and wellbeing.
    • Partner with leaders to foster a positive, inclusive, and service-focused culture.
    • Champion company values and strengthens communication across the team.

     

    Compliance & HR Operations

    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
    • Maintain employee records, audits, reporting, and HR documentation.
    • Partners with payroll, staffing, and HR shared services teams to support operational excellence.

    Other Duties:

    Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support business and HR objectives.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business, Organizational Leadership, or a related field.
    • 3-5 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
    • Strong knowledge of employee relations, recruiting, employment law, and HR best practices.
    • Proven ability to influence, coach, and build relationships across all levels of the organization.
    • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
