Description

Description

  • Advise clients on executive compensation and benefits-related legal matters.
  • Draft and review compensation and benefits documentation, including equity plans and employment agreements.
  • Support clients in compliance with applicable federal and state laws, including tax and securities regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver legal solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Provide guidance on the design and implementation of compensation structures and benefit plans.
  • Assist in due diligence and integration processes for mergers and acquisitions.
  • Conduct research and analysis to stay updated on legal developments impacting executive compensation and benefits.
  • Deliver presentations and training sessions to clients on relevant legal issues.

Profile

A successful candidate should have:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction or eligible for prompt admission
  • 2-6 years of experience advising on executive compensation and employee benefits matters in M&A transactions
  • Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
  • Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Experience using legal AI tools is advantageous
