    Description

    Assist Technical Department staff with daily activities, such as but not limited to collection of data, raise and review technically-related Quality Management System (QMS) documents, and maintain configuration control. Production floor support and training, bills of materials. 
     
     Raise and review any technically related QMS documents such as but not limited to: • Manufacturing Process Instructions • Job Safety Analysis Worksheets • Process Control Cards • Query Notes • Technical Instructions (review only) • Configuration Change Management documentation (review only) • Regulatory documentation (review only) • Fixturing • Learn Solutioning and Welding • Creation of BOM Technical related problem solving for the manufacturing processes for all value streams manufactured at Sharon Center. Understand and participate in Configuration Change Management reviews 
     
    Assist with tooling identification, procurement, and maintenance • Support requirement identification • Interact with tooling vendors and sub-contractors Page 2 of 5 Job Description – Associate Engineer September 2026 Assist Technical staff with tooling verifications Assist in production process flow • Develop understanding of all aspects of product • Understand impact of changes to process Support customer service calls Support marine packing schools as required Assist with template requirement, construction, verification, and review Ensure job role-specific disciplines of standards, such as but not limited to ISO9001, OSHA, MED, and USCG, are maintained
     
    Working in an environment where various solvents, adhesives, RF Welding equipment and industrial manufacturing machines are used is a requirement of this job role. 
     
      Education/Experience: • High school diploma required • Advanced education in technical-related field preferred • 1 – 2 years of work experience in technical or mechanical environment preferred Software: Experience in creating and working with the following Microsoft Office applications: • Microsoft Outlook • Microsoft Word • Microsoft Excel  
     
    Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the production of manufactured products • Knowledge and experience of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and their applications • Knowledge of the functionality of machines and tools • Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language, including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar
