MedVet is seeking a Hospitalist to join our Salt Lake City, UT hospital. The ideal candidate is a collaborative team player with strong communication skills and a proven ability to build relationships with colleagues, clients, and the referral community. Responsibilities include: 
  • Seeing same-day transfers from referring partners.
  • Overseeing inpatients across the hospital
  • Updating clients and referral partners on patient status.
  • Supporting the ER and surgery with procedures, patient recoveries, records and communication both to clients and referral partners if needed.
  • Working with the hospital leadership team to improve workflow and standard operating procedures.
  • Contributing to the ongoing training of clinical team members.
  • Acting as a referral partner liaison to strengthen our relationships within the community
