Annual Salary: $64,700.00 - $90,600.00

Remington Ammunition is seeking a Temporary Associate Electrical Controls Engineer. This entry-level Electrical Engineer (Programming & Controls) role focuses on assisting with the development, programming, and integration of automation technologies. The position supports control system design and PLC/HMI programming.

This is a temporary role, expected to run for 18-months.

Salary: $64,700.00 - $90,600.00

This position reports to our Director of Enterprise Applications and is based out of our office in Lonoke, Arkansas.

You will:

• Assist in developing and programming automation solutions using C, C#, C++, and Python.
• Support PLC programming and troubleshooting (Allen Bradley, Red Lion)
• Help integrate control systems with manufacturing equipment and related software
• Assist in developing HMI screens and operator interfaces
• Participate in testing, debugging, and validating automated systems
• Support documentation efforts including wiring diagrams, code comments, and configuration control
• Aid in evaluating existing manufacturing processes and identifying improvement opportunities
• Participate in cross-functional meetings to support project requirements
• Integrate machine data with MES/SCADA/IT systems for traceability and analytics
• Collaborate with engineering, IT, and operations teams to develop proof-of-concept and scalable solutions.

You have:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering
• Foundational experience with programming languages such as C, C#, C++, or Python
• Basic understanding of PLC programming concepts (Allen Bradley or Red Lion preferred)
• Exposure to HMI development or industrial communication protocols is a plus
• Understanding of basic electrical and control systems
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
