Description

We are currently seeking an Associate Director Portfolio Management for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in East Hanover, NJ. Details for the position are as follows:
 
Job Description:
  • Pay: $56 – 88/hr (W2)
  • 1-year assignment with potential to extend or convert based on performance and business need
  • Hybrid role requiring 2 – 3 days per week onsite
  • You will support portfolio planning, demand management, assessment, prioritization, and governance across technology, digital, data, and business initiatives
  • Partner with business stakeholders, product teams, portfolio leaders, and technology organizations to evaluate incoming requests and support portfolio decision-making
  • Analyze strategic alignment, business value, resource requirements, dependencies, risks, and potential impacts to support demand assessment and prioritization
  • Support portfolio planning, capacity analysis, scenario planning, and investment discussions to help align resources with business priorities
  • Develop and maintain portfolio dashboards, reports, executive presentations, and status updates to provide leadership with visibility into portfolio health, priorities, risks, and investments
  • Analyze portfolio data to identify trends, capacity constraints, delivery risks, and opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with business, product, technology, and data teams to improve portfolio processes, governance standards, and decision-making
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5+ years of experience in portfolio management, program management, PMO, business operations, strategy, product operations, or a similar discipline
  • Experience supporting portfolio planning, prioritization, governance, demand management, or investment management processes
  • Experience developing executive-level reports, presentations, dashboards, and decision-support materials
  • Experience providing strategic IT recommendations and supporting technology, digital, CRM, data, or commercial portfolios
  • Familiarity with portfolio management frameworks, demand management, capacity planning, and governance processes
  • Experience working within Agile, Product Operating Model, or matrixed organizational environments
  • Pharmaceutical, life sciences, healthcare, or other regulated industry experience strongly preferred
