Associate Director Platform Engineering

We are working with an exciting Healthcare research firm that is looking to bring on an Associate Director, Platform Engineering.
As the Associate Director, Platform Engineering you will be responsible for development across the organizations technology stack, primarily within the Salesforce ecosystem. You will be both hands-on with development and also managing and mentoring direct reports within the Development Team.  

You will also play a key role in technically advancing the Platform. The person that steps in the is role should have extensive experience with Salesforce and modern development languages (Apex/SOQL/JavaScript/Python). You should be able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously with your team, own deliverables from end to end, prioritize workloads effectively, and thrive in an agile environment. 

•    you should be able to develop complex, customized solutions per requirements utilizing the full range of tools available on the Salesforce platform, including Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and SFDX

•    Develop and manage data integrations across internal and external systems, using REST APIs, Python, and Java

•    Administer and maintain data warehouses and databases using advanced SQL

•    Design and build interactive dashboards using Einstein Analytics or similar business intelligence tools

•    Maintain up-to-date code bases in version control systems such as Git 

•    Administer and maintain cloud infrastructure across different platforms such as AWS (EC2, S3), GCP, Azure, etc.

•    Ability to transpose business requirements into technical solutions, and lead others to do the same

•    Collaborate with stakeholders to design cohesive project strategies and ensure clear and effective communication throughout all phases of development, testing and deployment

•    Key contributor and leader in developing and streamlining Development Team’s processes; Establishes best practices for data quality and standardization

•    Stays current on industry trends, particularly Salesforce and related technologies

•    Process sensitive and protected information with a security-first mentality and in compliance with regulations, laws, and the organization’s policies 

•    Responsible for maintaining up to date weekly time tracking for the projects

Requirements

Experience developing web and/or mobile applications on Heroku
