The Position
The Associate Director, NovoCare Consumer Social & Digital Marketing is responsible for translating the NovoCare consumer strategy into high-quality social and digital marketing execution. The role leads the development, approval, activation and ongoing optimization of consumer-facing content and promotional marketing across NovoCare social and digital channels. Working closely with brand, Omnichannel, CRM, NovoCare App & Web, Medical, Legal, Regulatory, Compliance, agencies and Insights & Analytics, this individual will ensure consumer messaging is effectively pulled through from strategy into market.
A major focus of the role is building a scalable and responsive content model that can support the pace of consumer marketing in a regulated environment. This includes developing tactical plans, creating and adapting promotional content, managing approval and trafficking processes, monitoring performance and continuously improving execution based on consumer response and marketing results.
This is a hands-on role for a strong consumer marketer who combines sound marketing judgment with the ability to get work into market. Success means creating relevant, compliant and effective NovoCare consumer marketing, improving the speed and quality of content execution, and continuously strengthening performance through disciplined measurement and test-and-learn.
Relationships
Reports to the Director, NovoCare Brand, Platform & Membership. Individual-contributor role with no direct reports; manages agency and creator partners and the NovoCare social and digital content budget. Works daily with Omnichannel (media planning and buying, channel infrastructure), brand consumer marketing teams, CRM & Lifecycle Engagement, the NovoCare App & Web Business Owner, the Customer Experience & Conversion team, medical, legal and regulatory review partners, Insights & Analytics and Corporate Communications.
Essential Functions
NovoCare Consumer Marketing Management: Support the development and execution of NovoCare consumer marketing objectives across social and digital channels, translating the broader NovoCare strategy into clear activation priorities that build awareness, engagement and connection to the NovoCare experience.
Social & Digital Content Planning and Execution: Develop and execute a nimble content model for NovoCare social and digital marketing, informed by consumer insights, cultural and platform trends, performance data and the needs of the broader NovoCare ecosystem.
Tactical Planning and Activation: Lead the development of social and digital tactical plans, working closely with Omnichannel partners to translate NovoCare priorities into executable channel activity while maintaining ownership of consumer messaging, content and creative direction.
Content Creation and Execution: Lead the development of consumer-facing promotional, engagement and experience content across NovoCare social and digital channels. Ensure content connects across touchpoints, supports a consistent NovoCare consumer experience and complies with applicable industry requirements and promotional guidelines.
Content Operations and Promotional Review: Establish and manage a sustainable content development, approval and trafficking process, working closely with Medical, Legal, Regulatory, Compliance, agencies and internal partners to move high-quality consumer content efficiently from concept through approval and execution.
Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Work closely with Insights & Analytics and Omnichannel partners to monitor, track and report on key marketing performance indicators. Translate performance insights into clear recommendations for messaging, content and execution improvements.
Test and Learn: Build continuous experimentation into social and digital execution, testing creative, messaging, formats, content themes and activation approaches to identify what resonates with consumers and improve future activity.
Agency and Budget Management: Manage social and digital agency partners and associated content budgets, ensuring resources are focused on the highest-value priorities, work is delivered efficiently and spending remains on track.
Physical Requirements
20-25 % overnight travel required and based out of our Plainsboro, NJ HQ.
Qualifications
The base compensation range for this position is $152,000 to $210,000. Base compensation is determined based on a number of factors. This position is also eligible for a company bonus based on individual and company performance. Novo Nordisk offers long-term incentive compensation and or company vehicles depending on the positions level or other company factors.
