Description

Major/Essential Functions

Serve as the primary Employee Experience contact for TTUSA offices and staff. Communicate and educate on employee benefits, human resource related policies, procedures, programs, and TTUSA values.

Advise and assist in the coordination of the full-cycle recruitment and hiring processes, including job postings, interviewing, applicant selection, and onboarding. Ensure all hiring activities align with established procedures and that new hire documentation is completed accurately and on time in accordance with policies and compliance standards.

Promote a positive workplace culture aligned with TTUSA values. Partner with managers and supervisors to support performance management and employee development. Advise and assist TTUSA departments with maintaining accurate and up-to-date position descriptions. Manage and standardize the annual performance evaluation process to foster a high-performance culture through clear expectations, ongoing feedback, and by encouraging accountability, collaboration, and goal-oriented actions.

Develop, implement, and support strategies for employee development and succession planning to ensure TTUSA organizational continuity and growth. Collaborate with leadership to identify skill gaps, assess talent, and create individualized development plans. Facilitate opportunities for training, mentoring, and career progression, while proactively identifying and preparing staff for future leadership and critical roles. Ensure appropriate record keeping regarding employee training programs.

Coordinate with TTU Office of Human Resources on required training, benefits, professional development opportunities, and other employee benefits. Serve as the point of contact to ensure that all TTUSA employees are in compliance with mandatory training such as EEO, Title IX, Ethics, Clery and Cybersecurity; and coordinating with the departments required to host the various training in a timely manner.

Partner with TTUSA leadership and managers on a variety of personnel matters to include coaching and corrective action, performance improvement plans, terminations, and exit procedures. Partner with TTUs Office of Human Resources to resolve critical and time sensitive employee issues.

Pay Statement

Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as the institutional pay plan.
